There used to be a joke that EZTV was your favorite indie-band's favorite indie-band. Ezra Tenenbaum, Michael Stasiak, and I first played together when circumstances conspired to put us in a small rehearsal space, auditioning to be the North American backing band for J. Spaceman's Spiritualized. We didn't get that gig, but we did really enjoy playing together, so we formed EZTV. We signed to Captured Tracksshortly after our first show, went on to make 2 records and a handful of singles, and got to tour and collaborate with some of our all-time favorite artists.
